Another Friend Faith

When I arrived at the Gap so wide,
No further my friend Reason could bring me through,
Yet Reason did leave my side
And made me a stupid fool.

He told me something I didn't know before:
"There was Another who walked you here,
Now that I am helpless, he'll walk you somemore,
His name is Faith, call him, he'll appear "

True enough Faith showed himself when I called,
And we both looked down the Gap so deep,
I really don't know if I'll fall,
But with Faith, I suddenly dared make the leap.
